About the Department

Welcome to the Department of Sanskrit at Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya. Established in the year 2008 for General Course and later in 2018 for Honours Course, the Department of Sanskrit has been a beacon of academic excellence. Offering both UG Honours and General Courses, we are proud to be a cornerstone of learning and exploration for all Sanskrit enthusiasts.

Our Approach to Education:

Guided by the University's directives and our institution's academic committee, we had successfully embraced a dynamic blend of the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) and the traditional annual system of learning. We are now adopted to NEP 2020. This approach ensures that our students receive a holistic education that is both comprehensive and adaptable.
