Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya has always thrived for betterment in all aspects. Making an institution grievance free is the best thing one can achieve. That’s why the Grievance Redressal Cell has been formed in the College as per the UGC guidelines to redress the grievances of both the staff and the students. It plays a vital role in the college administration. The Cell is committed to provide a secure and contented environment to all its Staff Members and Students.
To develop an organizational framework to resolve Grievances of Students and other stakeholders.
To provide the students access to immediate, hassle-free recourse to have their Grievances Redressed.
To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
To uphold the dignity of the College by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial relationships with stakeholders.
To encourage the stakeholders to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.

Suggestion / complaint Box is installed in the college main office in which the stakeholders, who want to remain anonymous, put in writing their grievances or their suggestions for improving the Academics / Administration of the College.
Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya makes all efforts to ensure transparency in all the activities at different stages. Taking this into consideration the college decided to provide a mechanism to students for redress of their grievances.
The GRC deals with Grievances received in writing/online mode from stakeholders about any of the following matters:
Academic related matters.
Examination related matters.
Infrastructures and Amenities related matters.
Sexual harassment, misconduct or ragging related matters.
The Grievance Redressal Cell shall not entertain the following issues:
Decisions of the Administrative Committees constituted by the college.
Decisions with regard to scholarships, fee concession etc.
Decisions taken by the college with regard to disciplinary matters and misconduct.
To accept written grievances or by mail from the various stakeholders.
To create and implement a mechanism to handle the reported grievances.
To listen, record and scrutinize the grievances submitted to them by the Staff and Students and take necessary steps immediately.
To represent the grievances to the concerned section which may include maintenance, academic, amenities etc.
To make a follow-up of these matters at regular intervals till their final disposal.
To maintain strict confidentiality, if necessary.
In case the members fail to find out any solution then the matter is referred to the management for final comment on the matter.
If anybody is found to be guilty for any kind of nuisance, he or she is given punishment with due consideration with the Principal. The nature of punishment includes verbal as well as written warning, information to the parents, financial punishment, information to the police (if situation arises for so) and expelling from the college as per the rule of the university.
Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya has adopted some few ways for registration of grievances by the various stakeholders. These are:
1. Direct Method: Students and staff members can register written complaints directly to the Convener/Members of the Grievance Redressal Cell.
2. Indirect Method: Students and staff members can register complaints through the HoDs of the concerned departments. HoDs shall forward the complaints to the Grievance Redressal Cell.
3. Dropbox Method: Students and staff members can drop their complaints in the complaint drop box available in the entrance of the main office of the college.
