State Govt. Scholarship Schemes for the Students :
Institutional Financial Support
Beside the Govt. Scholarship Schemes, our Institute provides a Yearly Financial Support to the ST Category students from its own fund.
Objectives :
- To minimize the dropout rate of ST students due to financial constraints.
- To encourage higher education among the indigenous population.
- To create a sustainable support system outside of government scholarships.
- To foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus environment.
Procedure :
- Application Process: A simplified, trust-based application process allows students to apply early in the academic year. Applications are processed through the college office, eliminating complex bureaucratic hurdles.
- Committee Scrutiny: A dedicated committee reviews applications, focusing on income certificates and regular attendance to ensure the aid reaches the most deserving students.
- Coverage: The payment is done every Academic Year at the time the new Session begins and the aid covers incidental expenses such as textbooks, stationery and occasionally commuting costs.
