About the Department

Our College Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya established on 1986. From the very beginning Bengali Department also started along with programme Course. Our Bengali Department achieved a graceful position in K. U. and in this respect Kalyani University gave the permission to open Honours Course. Andin this context Bengali Honours had been started its journey from 1996. Our full time faculty members are two Associate Professors. Beside them at present three invitee teachers are engaged to teaching our students. Though our teachers' strength is not strong enough, yet our teachers’dedication and sincerity enriched our department spontaneously. The result of our Bengali department is remarkable in Murshidabad district as well as Kalyani University.
